Understand your Child's Personality Type with Human Design Profile Lines 🔦
So, you know your child is a Generator.
You read about Generators. You studied their design.
Now you're ready to learn about Profile Lines.
What Are Profile Lines?
Think of it this way: Your kids' Human Design type is the foundation. Think of their Profile as the architecture built on top.
Two Generators can be completely different kids based on their Profile lines. One might need to research everything before trying. Another might jump in and learn through trial and error.
Same Type. Totally different approach to life.
Understanding child personality types means understanding both Human Design Type AND Profile together.

The 6 Profile Lines
There are 6 Profile Lines in Human Design. Your child has two of them, creating their complete Profile.
The first number is their conscious personality. The second number is their unconscious design.
Here's what each Line means:
Line 1: The Investigator
These kids need a solid foundation of knowledge before they act.
They're researchers. They ask detailed questions. They need to KNOW before they do.
What they need: Time to research, solid foundations, answers to their questions.
Line 2: The Hermit / Natural
These kids have natural gifts and need alone time.
They're talented without trying, but they need space to develop those gifts privately.
What they need: Permission for alone time, recognition of natural talents, patience.
Line 3: The Experimenter
These kids learn through trial and error.
Mistakes aren't failures for Line 3 kids—they're how they learn.
What they need: Permission to experiment, space to make mistakes, reassurance that trial and error is their path.
Line 4: The Networker
These kids thrive through relationships and community.
Their opportunities in life come through their network of people.
What they need: Deep friendships, community, opportunities to connect.
Line 5: The Heretic
These kids are seen as problem-solvers and carry projections.
Others expect them to have answers, fix things, save the day. This creates lots of internal pressure.
What they need: Permission to say no, space from others' expectations.
Line 6: The Role Model
These kids go through three life phases.
In childhood, they're experimenting—trying everything, making mistakes, gathering wisdom for later.
What they need: Permission to experiment, understanding that their wisdom develops over time.

Common Profile Combinations
Your child has TWO lines creating their complete Profile. Here are key combinations:
1/3: Investigator-Experimenter
Needs to research AND try. Give them information first, then let them experiment.
2/4: Hermit-Networker
Needs alone time AND deep friendships. Honor both their solitude and their connections.
3/5: Experimenter-Heretic
Learns through trial and error while carrying projections. Give them permission to NOT know everything while they're figuring things out.
6/2: Role Model-Hermit
Experimenting in childhood AND needs alone time. Let them try things and honor their need for space.
How Type + Profile Work Together
Here's why Profile matters:
A 1/3 Generator needs to respond to choices (Type), research first (Line 1), then experiment (Line 3).
A 6/2 Projector needs recognition and invitation (Type), space to experiment in childhood (Line 6 phase 1), and alone time (Line 2).
Type + Profile = complete picture.
